The Artist Says:
“This artwork is a multilayered piece, representing the importance of nurturing your spiritual and physical self-characterised by forms that could be interpreted as both water bodies and land.
Both areas where we work is symbolised by the shapes running vertically down the middle. There are concentric circles on the canvas inspired by the iconography of gas molecules as well as a stylised dinosaur skeleton to represent the extracted fossil fuels. Land masses can be seen dotted with core samples.”
